He runs a composite Counselling Centre at Clare Road, opposite St. Agnes School, where psychological evaluation and varieties of counselling activities are undertaken. This facility specializes in children’s evaluation and counselling.
He also has a state–of-the art E.E.G laboratory at Masina Hospital.
He has just started a multi-dimensional counselling centre and the Masina Institute of Psychotherapy and Behavioural Sciences has just taken off and is doing sterling work in the field.
Chairman of the “Humanity Health Organisation”, a charitable trust comprising like-minded individuals who render yeomen service, both medical and non-medical whenever and wherever needed, Dr. Matcheswalla is always at the helm of affairs when required.
He is also the prime mover behind “Dilaasa” a support and self-help group for families of people with a mental health or addiction problem.

Mrs. Safiya Yusuf Matcheswalla is an entrepreneur in her own right and is a beauty consultant. She owns and operates a up-market beauty salon – Fresh Faces Beauty Salon at Byculla. She is actively involved in all noble acts of philanthropy along with Dr. Matcheswalla.

Formerly, National Administrator of Kripa Foundation – a national level Non-Governmental Organisation working in the field of Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention and Treatment of Addicts, Alcoholics and Poly-Drug Users. He was, in large measure, responsible for the setting up of 26 Rehabilitation Centres all over India, especially in North East India.
He is Founder-Member and former Chairman of The Kripa Society, Manipur which is into HIV / AIDS Prevention work, including training families in “Home-based care of the HIV / AIDS afflicted”.
He was one of three selected to undergo a management training course in Rehabilitation and Counselling at the International Centre for Vocational, Technical and Advanced Training, Turin, Italy under the auspices of the International Labour Organisation.
He is Joint Secretary of the Humanity Health Organisation, a charitable trust comprising like-minded individuals who render yeomen service, both medical and non-medical whenever and wherever needed.
He is also Governing Body Member of Dilaasa, a support and self-help group for families of people with a mental health problem.
Currently, he is with Masina Hospital at Byculla and conceives, initiates and manages programmes of Recovey for Drug Addicts, Alcoholics, Poly-drug users and the dually diagnosed patient, including managing the administrative and day to day efficacious running of the rehabilitation wards.

Dr. Badrealam Syed, M.D (A.M), BAMS (Ayur) is a post graduate in Alternative Medicine having completed his B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai. He is also Post-graduate Diploma in Naturopathy, Diploma Holder in Hospital Management and a Certificate holder in Clinical Research from ICRI.
He owns and operates NASR Pharmaceuticals Private Limited and practices from his clinic at Worli.
He is General Secretary of Humanity Health Organisation is Chief Administrative Officer of Dr. Matcheswalla’s Mental Health Care Enterprise.
Associated with Dr. Matcheswalla since 1984, Dr. Syed is also connected with the EEG Laboratory at Masina Hospital, Byculla, Mumbai
He runs a rehabilitation centre for psychiatric cases in Lonavla, about 120 KMs from Mumbai, where he provides the patients tender, loving care and a superb ambiance in which to recover from their ailment.

Dr. Ali Akbar Gabhrani, an eminent professional working for the noble social cause of helping the poor and the needy mentally handicapped patients and their families, is a medical graduade (Hons) from Shri Venkateshwara University, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
A perfect gentleman and an officer, he is well known for the fine art of receiving patients at their homes and bringing them into treatment settings. Most of these patients are violent or extremely difficult to handle, but Dr. Gabhrani seems to have no difficulty in bringing them under control with his silky smooth talk, which has also given him the nickname “Dr. Gabs” and a beatific smile.
He did his Diploma in Counselling and Health Psychology from St. Xaviers Institute of Counselling Psychology.
He runs a charitable ambulance service for the not-so-affording on a no-profit-no-loss basis.
He is an active member of the managing committee of the Humanity Health Organisation and involves himself in relief work at the grassroots level, especially at times of disaster – natural or man-made.
He routinely gives orations, talks and lectures in educational institutions and law enforcement agencies (Police Officers). He also conducts workshops and seminars on “Stress Management”.

Dr. Heena Merchant-Pandit, MBBS, MD, DPM is the latest to have joined Dr. Matcheswalla’s Mental Health Enterprises.
In addition to her qualifications in Psychiatry, she has done her P.L.A.B (Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board, U.K), She has gone through a lot of training in various branches of Psychiatry in different parts of the United Kingdom.
She is immensely experienced in old age psychiatry, general adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry. Her diagnostic skills are beyond question as are her counseling sessions.
A vivacious live wire of Masina Hospital’s Department of Psychiatry, she also does home visits and receives difficult patients from their homes to facilitate their admission into the appropriate hospital settings.
